'Advanced Massage Techniques'

This 5-day Course is for those Massage and/or Aromatherapists who wish to update their knowledge.

It enables Students to develop a comprehensive range of skills in Therapeutic Massage and facilitates an increased awareness of issues of health and disease (physical and mental), in relation to the application of Therapeutic Massage.

There will be time on the Course to address the needs of individual students and if there is anything specific that you would like to be included please give us 2 weeks notice so that paperwork can be prepared.

Please note that this Course is also available as individual days: Strain/Counter-strain, Soft Tissue Dysfunction & Muscle Energy Techniques, Trigger Points, Hands-free Massage Techniques and Soft Remedial Massage. Please look at the individual days for dates as we often run them earlier than the full 5-day course. Once all five days have been attended a Certificate of Qualification will be issued.

Studies normally commence at 10.00 a.m. and finish at 5.00 p.m.

Please note that this Course is a:

Post-graduate qualification course, during which the student is assessed for competence. Subject to the student already holding an appropriate therapy qualification, the assessment being satisfactory and the approval of the students' Governing Body and Insurance Company, it can be added to your list of qualifications.

Please note that on all 'Certificate of Qualification' Courses students are assessed either by Continuous Assessment, Case Studies or Examination.

Many Associations accept our Courses for CPD including the IFPA (30 category A Points) and CThA (Post-graduate Qualification 25 CPD credits).

If you would like to attend this Course but cannot attend on any of the Course-dates listed, please let us know and we will inform you as new dates are scheduled.

Certificate of Qualification awarded to successfully completing Students

CThA students please note that CThA do not view this course as a new 'treatment' (only new techniques) and as such will not be listed as a new qualification
