AYFA: 'Ayurvedic Facial & Marma-point Face Massage'

This 2-day Course is one of our 'Guest' Courses written by Su Hagan, whose 4-year study of Ayurvedic Medicine in Nepal has afforded her a great understanding of Ayurvedic principles.

Charaka, a classical Ayurvedic writer, defines disease and health thus, 'A disharmony among the constituents which support the body is known as disease; their harmony is called health, the state of normality. A sense of well-being is characteristic of the absence of disease, for disease is always associated with discomfort'.

No prior experience is required to attend this Course.

This Ayurvedic Facial is a detoxifying treatment that utilises natural products from pure essential oils, botanical extracts and herbal preparations to deeply cleanse, hydrate and rejuvenate the skin. It includes a facial steam and a Marma Point Massage to relax and relieve the stress lines that are a result of everyday life.

The facials are customised for each individual's Dosha which result in properly nourished, revitalised and balanced skin. The restorative benefits of herbs and oils from India have been known there for centuries. This healing facial utilises Neem's reparative, hydrating and firming properties. Deep cleansing and nourishing, the facial also includes a mask prepared for each client from a variety of ingredients.

A slow cooker is required for this Course. Please let us know if you are travelling by train and cannot bring one.
