We start with lymphatic drainage for these areas to enable toxins to begin draining away PRIOR to carrying out the applications that follow during this sumptous treatment.
Overview
This sumptuous Aromatherapeutic Facial 1-day Course covers how to assess and deliver your clients' treatment requirements within a holistic approach. i.e. how to bring balance to all systems through the scalp, face, neck and shoulders using techniques that target specific tissue layers - the lymphatic system, circulatory system, nervous system, muscular system and the integumentary system.

We approach this treatment with a view to preparing a deeply effective foundation for our facial sequence by initially draining the lymphatics and treating any restrictions in the surrounding tissues and musculature. This preparation increases the effectiveness of your facial and facilitates longer lasting results.
Aromatherapists will learn how to create your own facial products for your clients using
blends of carrier oils, tinctures and essential oils individually tailored to your clients requirements.
If you are a beauty/massage therapist it is recommended that you use
either ready blended oils or carrier oils only.
For qualified Aromatherapists
Also open to those with no previous experience, to use with family and friends.
Course Content
Studies commence at 9.30 a.m. and finish at 5.30 p.m.
On this comprehensive one day course you will learn:
- Contra-indications/cautions
- Skin-diagnosis
- Cleansing, exfoliating, toning & moisturisiing routine
- Making & applying clay masks
- Properties of different clays
- Carrier oils for different skin-types
- Essential oils for different skin-types
- Full shoulder, neck, face & scalp routine, including lymphatic drainage,
massage, cleansing, exfoliating, masking, and moisturising.
The cost of the Course includes £5 materials fee.
Please note: This course is a Post-graduate qualification course, during which the student is assessed for competence.
Certificate of Qualification awarded to successfully completing Aromatherapists
Many Associations accept our courses for CPD including the IFPA (6 Category A Points).
