FIR1: 'First Aid'

First Aid for Complementary Therapists

This is a dynamic 1-day course in essential First Aid skills to the national recommended standards of the Health and Safety Executive for Emergency Life Support. Presented by David Tagg of 'Back to Work', an ex-paramedic and back-care specialist.

It is an ideal course for therapists, people involved in the health & leisure industry and everyone who seeks the knowledge to manage First Aid situations confidently.

As well as 4-hour training in Emergency/Appointed Person First Aid, there will be sessions on adverse reactions and Anaphylactic Shock, particularly relevant to the therapist working alone, plus a fascinating introduction to the use of Natural Remedies in First Aid - for the personal use of those attending.
