HSM1: 'Meridian Hot Stone Massage'

This is one of our 'Guest' courses, written and presented by Anita James. Anita is a multi-skilled practitioner, having qualifications in Aromatherapy, Reiki, Indian Head-Massage and Hopi Ear-Candling - to name but a few.

This course is a further exploration into the use of Hot & Cold Stone therapy. Students are required to have a Hot Stone Massage qualification.

The course focuses on the body's Meridian-system using a healing and nurturing treatment to level the body's energies, so creating harmony and balance. The Meridians are used in many forms of treatment but, with the addition of Stones, it is a truly revolutionary treatment

Students must have a Hot Stone Massage and a Bodywork qualification.

This comprehensive 1-day course will include:

* A review of Stone-Therapy procedures

* The Major Meridians

* Acupressure points to nurture and revive

* Benefits & effects of the treatment

* Contra-indications to the treatment

* After-care

* Working on the Meridians/Acupressure points

* Practical work

* A chance to give and receive Meridian Stone-Therapy

Studies normally commence at 10.00 a.m. and finish at 5.00 p.m.

Many Associations accept our Courses for CPD including the IFPA (6 Category A Points) and CThA (5 CPD Credits).
