HSR2: 'Reflex Hot Stone Massage'

This is one of our 'Guest' courses, written and presented by Anita James. Anita is a multi-skilled practitioner, having qualifications in many different disciplines.

This course is aimed at Reflexologists/Foot Reflex Massage Therapists who want to be able to use Hot Stones in their treatments.

The whole of the body can be treated through the feet and, with the addition of Hot and Cold stones, the therapy enters another, deeper, therapeutic level. The treatment works on the foot reflex points alongside the Meridians to restore, balance and rejuvenate the whole body. Whilst the feet are worked stone placements on the body are used to enhance the treatment.

Students must have a Reflexology or Reflex Foot Massage qualification. Students without either of these qualifications must take our Foot Reflex Assessment and Massage Course before attending this Course.

This comprehensive course will include:

* Stone Therapy Procedures

* Mapping the Feet

* Working on the Reflex-points of the Feet

* Working on the Meridians through the Feet

* Using Placements on the Body

* Benefits & Contra-indications

* After-care

* Practical Work

* Giving & Receiving a Treatment
