PALL: 'Aromatherapy & Palliative Care'

This 2-day 'Guest' Course, run by Sally Woods, addresses the issues surrounding palliative care comprehensively to assist with most problems with which a Therapist will come in contact. No prior experience is required to attend this course as the content will be adjusted according to the participants.

It is as useful for family members and carers as it is for qualified therapists. For the non-Aromatherapist it is not recommended that they use essential oils dermally and we will be discussing essential oils in terms of their beneficial aromas.

Topics addressed will include:

* What is palliative care?

* The grieving process (patients and carers)

* How to adapt treatments

* Contra-indications

* Problems commonly encountered in palliative care

* Lymphodoema

* The relevance of Essential Oils/Nutrition/Flower Remedies

* Techniques to enhance current treatment modality
